Dave started his career at the University of Vermont in 2002 as a Project Engineer for the Physical Plant Department. For the next 10 years, he managed major utility projects including the installation of the university’s first chiller plant, development of utility master plan, and the strategic expansion and renewal of the campus underground district energy systems. He then served as a Facilities Zone Manager leading a team charged with routine and preventive maintenance of 1.4 million square feet of campus facilities including the district served by the central chilled water system. Dave is now the Capital Renewal Engineer and is responsible for updating the campus facility condition assessment. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. He earned his CEFP in 2018.
