Seeking feedback, positive or negative, on your experience using EVs for Public Safety/Security. Our initial thought is that for the EVs we are somewhat familiar with, the charge might not last for a full shift, especially during colder weather when the patrol vehicle sits and idles for extended periods overnight while security staff are moving from one area to another doing lockup and interior building patrol. We presently have only one dedicated Security vehicle, as we are a small private campus.
