Steve Glazner directs the creation, collection, and distribution of information, research, and other communications relevant to educational facilities and the professionals who manage them. Joining APPA in 1982, he created and serves as editor of Facilities Manager magazine, APPA's bimonthly magazine founded in 1985. He helped develop the APPA Body of Knowledge (BOK) project and the popular Operational Guidelines trilogy of publications for custodial, grounds, and maintenance trades. Steve is the staff director of APPA's Center for Facilities Research (CFaR), which coordinates research projects large and small on topics of interest to higher education and educational facilities professionals, serves as editor of the Inside APPA enewsletter, and oversees APPA’s book publishing effort. Steve is the APPA staff liaison to the Southeastern Region (SRAPPA) and the Information and Communications Committee. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas and APPA’s Leadership Academy.
